She has taught young children for more than fifteen years and holds a degree in Art History and Montessori Teacher Training. Mike Norris holds a Master of Arts in Classics and a Ph.D. in Medieval Art History. He has been a staff educator at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art for more than fifteen years, and currently oversees and teaches in the Met's programs for families at their main building on Fifth Avenue. He has written several Museum publications for children and teachers, and has been the historical consultant for several research guides for young readers. He is also an advisor to HBO's program for very young audiences, Classical Baby: The Art Show.
